About

Simon Ondrejka, MD, FEBO, is an independent consultant ophthalmologist based at Augencentrum Köln in Cologne, Germany, where his practice focuses on interventional glaucoma management, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, cataract surgery and premium intraocular lens implantation. He studied medicine at LMU Munich, with clinical training in South Africa, New Zealand, Slovakia and France. Simon and the team at Augencentrum Köln were the first official site enrolled in Nova Eye's CATALYST Study in 2022, and he continues to collaborate with researchers at Bonn University to explore the diagnostic utility of canaloplasty through fluorescein channelography. His long-running research partnership with Dr. Norbert Koerber has produced published canaloplasty outcomes data spanning 24-month to 10-year follow-up. When he's not in clinic, Simon is likely on his bicycle or out on a hike.
